David Cooke
David has been the pastor of BEFC since January 2009. He trained for the ministry at London Reformed Baptist Seminary, and was previously pastor of a small Baptist church in Oxford. He is married to Jenny, and they have 4 adult children, and an increasing number of grandchildren. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, David is the Treasurer of the Open-Air Mission. In his spare time he enjoys running, tandem riding and reading.
David Umpleby
I have been one of the Elders of this church since it began in 1984. I am a retired schoolteacher. My hobbies are reading, music and going to the gym. I also love talking to people. I and my wife Janet have 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
Donald Maciver
Donald is married to Jean and has two teenage sons. He has been coming along to the church since 1991 and has served as a deacon for the last 17 years. He works as a pharmacist and enjoys most sports (increasingly from his armchair) and climbing hills given the opportunity!
Mark Wareing
Mark was born in Worcestershire and became a Christian at the age of 15. He is married to Rebecca, lives in Adderbury and is Reader in Practice Education at a University in London.
Ally Johns
Ally was born and grew up in Wales. He became a Christian in his teenage years. He is married to Hannah and has two young boys. Ally is head of a Banbury primary school, his hobbies include running and amateur meteorology.
Daniel Neal
Daniel has been attending the church since he was seven and became a Christian as a teenager. He is married to Julia and has two young boys. He works in digital marketing in the charity sector and enjoys football, cricket and mountain walking.
